This kind of study comprises of a comprehensive analysis of various solution possibilities in view of the technical feasibility in practical application. Additionally, it provides information on expected costs and time expenditure for the realisation of a reliable product. Overall, this is the basis for a system or technology selection in the subsequent design phase of the project. |

Product development
Customer requirements are the focal point during product development - from the idea right up to series production. We identify the problem definition right at the beginning and determine the objective of the project together with the customer. The most successful advances over all of the project phases are registered and documented by reaching milestones. During the development phase, a future realisation of the product is examined by means of risk appraisals, evaluation of reliability and user friendliness. This ensures that the finished product corresponds to customer requirements and fulfils all statutory regulations.

Integration support
We aid our customers in making transport devices, of all kinds, even safer for persons and goods. From the two-point pelvic restraint on an aircraft seat, restraint harnesses for standing passengers in military vehicles, restraint systems for helicopter pilots right up to inflatable belt systems with protection against head and neck injuries, the correct integration of the restraint system in a vehicle or aircraft is an important element unrestricted functioning and security.
SCHROTH Engineering supports you in the following fields: Installation space tests of the restraint systems, system layout and selection of the appropriate components, examination and provision of installation diagrams, determination of values for component or system interfaces.

Counselling and expert opinion
For more than 50 years SCHROTH has been actively involved in the development of products and test procedures, as well as in the manufacturing of safety belts. This is documented by our comprehensive know-how, which ranges across the whole spectrum of restraint systems, their functionality and ranges of performance and the subsequent integration thereof in vehicles. We actively provide counselling and expert opinions within these fields and work for the aviation, motor racing and military industry. Constant participation in international conferences, the collaboration with standardisation committees and the observation of occurrences regarding patents, by means of continuous research, keep us continuously up to date. Our know-how and innovative approach can also often lead to a patentability of our customer's products and processes. |
